Terms and Conditions for 30-Day Money-back guarantee

Usage

Money Back Guarantee (MBG) claims must be received within 30 days from the initial date of order. You can process the MBG via customer support. Refunds will be returned to the Payment Account currently on file for your IONOS account.

The MBG applies to certain of the IONOS Services, as set forth in the Service description on the IONOS Website, and is limited to the refund of certain setup fees and the monthly fee for the first billing cycle.

Exclusions

The MBG does not apply to: 

  • professional services, including the Design Service or E-Commerce Package;
  • third party budgets that have been spent up to the point of the Money-back guarantee claim including but not limited to budgets for Local Business Listing (List Local), the Search Engine Optimization Tool  (rankingCoach) and Google Ads Management Service;
  •  new orders of domain packages, SSL certificates, additional domains, and additional features; 
  • fees for usage-based Services, including but not limited to certain server products; and 
  • Search Engine Marketing set up fees.

Miscellaneous

Customers switching from one package to another package are no longer eligible for the Money-back guarantee.
Any customer who has breached or whose account has been suspended or terminated due to the breach of any part of the IONOS General Terms & Conditions forfeits the right to use the IONOS Money-back guarantee.
